Students will learn the fundamentals of processes in the land; atmosphere; oceans; and cryosphere: the components making up the global climate. This framework will provide the basis for an investigation of what happens when one of these components is perturbed; including theoretical repercussions and actual measured data from the past and present on both a global and regional scale.
